The plate easily slides through the straw and sits securely on top of the cup, leaving a small gap between the tumbler and the plate. When cleaning, simply remove the plate, wash it with cold water, and place it back over the straw. These plates are not dishwasher safe. All sales are final as these products are custom, personalized, and made to order. Please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
